    ​“RAD 2023” will launch next November 13​

    With the participation of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, and the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, along with several officials, specialists, and entrepreneurs in the field of entrepreneurship within the Kingdom and beyond, the "RAD 2023" forum and exhibition, organized by the Asharqia Chamber, kicks off from November 13 to 15 of this year.

    In its seventh edition, the exhibition presents experiences from more than 300 establishments managed by young male and female entrepreneurs from both the Kingdom and abroad, spanning various fields. This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for the economic community, large companies, and businessmen in the Eastern region to familiarize themselves with the products and services of youth projects and offer support.

    Badr bin Sulaiman Al Riziza, the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber's Board of Directors, praised the participation of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, in the events of "RAD 2023," commending his significant efforts to support the private sector and affirm its role and partnership in the development process. Al Riziza also highlighted the continuous commitment of His Excellency, Professor Bandar Alkhorayef, the Minister of Industry, in supporting entrepreneurs in the industrial sector.

    He pointed out that this edition has a special nature, especially at a time when entrepreneurship is witnessing great progress and expansion, praised by all global indicators of entrepreneurship, pointing out that the Kingdom ranks first globally in 4 sub-indices in the Global Entrepreneurship Observatory index, and is led by other indicators, such as having Individual skills and knowledge, infrastructure, ease of obtaining financing for companies and entrepreneurs, ease of entry, market dynamics, and many other indicators related to entrepreneurship.
    Al-Raziza said that the exhibition comes within the framework of confirming that the culture of production and self-employment has taken its place in the region and the entire Kingdom, and that self-employment has become an integral part of young people’s future choices and a haven to extract their energies and explore their talents, and that it represents a supportive platform for the growth and development of the fields of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom. By presenting successful experiences and pioneering ideas, he explained that this year’s edition focuses on innovative ideas in production and exploring market needs, as well as new ideas in promoting products and services provided by young people, and aims to provide models of distinguished youth capable of taking responsibility, pointing to the extent of diversity in the participating companies. The projects of the exhibitors, both young men and women, include technology, services, industry and trade projects of all kinds.​
